My First Introvert Blog

Welcome to my first post. The reason I created this was to document my life as an introvert. I've always been told that it's better to be an extrovert than an introvert. You know what? I like being an introvert. Sure I may find being in a mingling situation rather frightening, but there's fun in being a wallflower and just observing people.

Well, enjoy.

Have you ever tried being an introverted law student? Law is sometimes listed as a "good job" for introverts, because of the writing and research involved, at least in some legal jobs. You sure wouldn't ever guess this visiting a law school? Why should extroversion be equated with self-confidence?? They are NOT the same thing. An introvert can be self-confident. 25% is a sizeable minority? What about minority rights? We are forever trying to adjust to an extroverted society; why can't society adjust to us?? A great book, if only to educate your extroverted friends, is "The Introvert Advantage." Great book for all , with some good practical advice. Being an introvert is no problem - until you have to look for a job, get stuck on a professional shool campus for hours at a time, etc. Why are 20-somethings more extroverted (or do they just pretend to be to fit in??) Anyone been to China, or Japan, where we are considered desirable?
